Alchemist Public Market is designed to empower underserved entrepreneurs, expand workforce development opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment, and create a vibrant community gathering space with access to quality local food.

Located on 0.82 acres in Sacramento’s River District and developed by Alchemist CDC, the all-electric campus will feature a shared-use incubator kitchen, a social enterprise café, a retail market showcasing products from Sacramento makers alongside everyday grocery staples, and a co-working space. The campus will also include eight small incubator restaurants surrounding a shared outdoor food court with shaded seating areas.

In addition to supporting local food businesses, Alchemist Public Market will offer community-focused amenities including a weekly farmers market, an inclusive playground, and flexible outdoor gathering spaces designed to bring neighbors together.

As the Owner’s Representative, Vertical Pacific is providing essential project oversight and construction management services for the project, including:
